Don Schrieber shows one of the oldest natural gas well meters in the area of his ranch, Well 30-039-07426, which was drilled June 3rd, 1953 in the San Juan Basin. Schrieber, a rancher turned activist it the San Juan Basin, has pushed for more consolidation and upkeep on the wells by the operating companies.
