University of New Mexico students and others voiced their outrage over U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement actions during a campuswide walkout Thursday.

Several hundred students, community members and community organizers chanted and held signs. Others spoke to the crowd, denouncing the Donald Trump administration’s immigration policies and enforcement.

The protesters gathered in front of Scholes Hall at the main campus in Albuquerque, the university’s administrative building which houses the office of the school’s president, Garnett S. Stokes.

  1. When is the University of New Mexico going to control its campus and stop allowing radical left wing instigators to riot against the government? Countries are responsible for protecting their sovereignty and enforcing immigration laws are part of that responsibility.
