I never really cared about Donald Trump. I never saw any of his TV shows, including Miss Universe or the one where I gather the punchline was “you’re fired!” (brilliant.)

I remember seeing him on David Letterman’s show, when Letterman got him talking about “American made,” “We’re losing jobs to China,” etc., then showed him that his Trump Ties were made in China. Trump’s response? “Oh well.”
Caught in another piece of BS, but doesn’t care, his fans don’t care.
I think it’s the Televangelist Syndrome—the more flawed and phony I prove to be, the more you want to give me your love and money and protect me from those mean old persecutors.
The Obama birther thing, Obama in Kenya? I don’t think Trump has ever admitted how phony that is, or apologized for it—or for anything.
The finance magazines said this genius would be worth more if he had invested his inheritance in a Standard & Poor’s indexed mutual fund than in his phallic buildings and other ventures? A titan of industry, a self-made egomaniac!
I’m fascinated with the Trump video clips where he tells crowds, “I’m smart – I’m a smart guy.” Yeah – trust me, I’m smart – cuz I said so.
I’ll get Mexico to pay for a big wall, just don’t ask me how.
I’ve got more military experience from ROTC in prep school than John McCain or any of those other losers who have actually been in combat.
And when I get in office I’ll SHOW you how tough I am. (Uh-oh…)
If more than thirty percent of Republicans bought your proven BS and worshiped you as the crazy abusive father figure, I’d be alarmed, instead of just very disappointed. You’ve got a head like a toaster, always popping up with newer and stupider ideas and comments, never retracted, just adding new ones.
But that’s all secondary. Another “loser” who actually served and was a POW, Col. Tom Moe, USAF (ret.) had it right, paraphrasing Reverend Neimoller’s quote about Hitler taking out one group at a time:
First they came for the Muslims, because, you know they’re all so dangerous they should be registered. Then those Mexicans because they’re rapists, except the nice ones who work for me for minimum wage, which by the way is TOO HIGH… and so on… and I said nothing, then finally they came for me and the other morons because Donald woke up one morning and decided anyone stupid enough to have supported him was truly dangerous!
Yeah, that’s all we need, an insecure lunatic to play out his fantasies and fears on the world stage. A role requiring finesse and magnanimity, not bluster and the mentality of the bully everyone hated in junior high.
You’ll be missing Obama after two weeks of this guy, I guarantee it. I’m still waiting to hear how he or his colleagues would have handled any ONE specific thing better than Obama has done.
Also on YouTube, Governor Chris Christie delivered one of the most stunning beautiful and stunning indictments of the moronic, Shariah-law-obsessed mentality—before he became a Trump fan and VP hopeful.
What really matters to me is I’ve got grandkids, and beautiful Muslim friends, and all sorts of people more admirable and worthy than you, whose lives are going to be miserable if you ever get the reins.
Dear Mr. Trump: Shut up and go away please. Being a good and relentless self-promoter and leading a powerful country in a dangerous world are not the same thing.
