Gary Johnson is coming back to New Mexico.

Johnson’s campaign announced an event at the University of New Mexico this Saturday. This is the second time the former New Mexico governor will appear at a campaign event in New Mexico since getting the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination.
Johnson will be at the UNM Student Union Building at 3:00 p.m., and the campaign says the doors will open at 2:00 p.m. for the rally.
“See why Johnson/Weld are rapidly gaining support as the sane choices for President and Vice-President,” the event pages states.
In August, Johnson rode in a low rider before holding a campaign rally at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Johnson’s campaign comes as he is polling in double-digits in New Mexico, including at nearly 25 percent in a poll by Research and Polling, Inc. commissioned by the Albuquerque Journal.
