We’re excited to announce our second News and Brews Summer Series panel. This time, NM Political Report will speak to three experts about the environment on June 8.
Like our last event, tickets are free which you can get from here. Readers who are subscribed to our daily emails are first to hear about these events.
NM Political Report’s Laura Paskus will again moderate the discussion. Paskus leads our environmental project, which includes in-depth stories on water, regulatory agencies, public lands, climate change and wildlife that no one else in the state is covering.
We will be in downtown Albuquerque in the Simms Building on 4th and Gold on the 7th floor. Enter through the east doors and head to the elevators in the lobby. Or you can enter through the Red Door Brewing.
This month, former EPA regional administrator and former New Mexico Environment Department Secretary Ron Curry, science writer Cally Carswell and Pueblo of Acoma member Theresa Pasqual will join our discussion.
Space is limited, so get your tickets here.
This is the second event in the series will continue each second Thursday of the month throughout the summer, with a new topic each month that we’ll announce at the previous event.
We offer the event for free, but ask for donations. Those allow us to offset the costs of the event and put our money into uncovering New Mexico’s most important stories. We can take cash, check or credit card donations at the event.
If you prefer, you can donate online here.
If you have any questions or problems, feel free to email editor@nmpoliticalreport.com.
